May 2008. FIREWORKS ADVISORY. Fireworks are legal in Ruston by permit only. Permits must have been applied for by June 4 at Town Hall. No fireworks may be used on Town property—street, sidewalk or playfield. Please see Ordinance 1175. Violation is a criminal offense and court is mandatory. Penalties include a $500.00 fine and or 30 days in Jail.
