When: June 10th  6:00 - 7:00 pm
Where: Council Chambers @ Mary Joyce Community Center – 5219 N. Shirley

Are you interested in learning about the hazards we face in Ruston and the Pierce County? At this one hour workshop, we will address the natural and technological hazards that can potentially impact our city, county and region – which includes earthquakes, severe storms, landslide, volcanic activity and hazardous materials incidents. We will discuss each hazard, it's history, probability of occurrence and it's potential impacts.

This workshop is the first in a series to be offered in 2014. Future workshops will be provided to teach fire safety, emergency preparedness, crime prevention, emergency medical care, and neighborhood disaster response organization.

For more information about this workshop, please email rustonfire@gmail.com or call Eric Cunningham at 253 507-0059.
