Members Sought for Serving on “Pro” or “Con” Committee for Potential Ruston Levy Lid Lift Ballot Measure

On December 6th, the Ruston City Council will consider placing a Levy LID Lift on the 2023 ballot to increase the Ruston-portion of property taxes by 25%. This will amount to approximately $18.17 per month for an average home in Ruston.  If the Council approves sending this measure to the voters, the Mayor will appoint both a pro and a con committee to write voter pamphlet statements. If you are interested in serving on either of these committees, please email the City Clerk at townclerk@rustonwa.org no later than April 30, 2023 expressing your interest and identifying whether you wish to be on the “pro” or “con” committee.
