The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and technical support to the City Clerk and Assistant City Clerk/Utility Clerk, City staff, and serve as the first point of contact for residents and visitors. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. The Administrative Assistant role is classified as a Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) non-exempt position. Step 2: Plan Review

Depending on your proposed project, plans will be reviewed by various city departments. Types of reviews include planning and zoning, structural and civil engineering. The assigned reviewers check to see that your proposal is in compliance with the specific code or regulation. If the proposal is in compliance, the reviewer will sign off and the proposal will move to the next review group (see step 3). If the reviewer needs additional information or has identified corrections to the proposal, they will request this information from you in writing in the form of a “Checksheet” (see step 2a.)
